Speaking to Museveni, Agar says the Sudan War is “Colonialist”

Entebbe – AlMohagig

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni received the Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Malik Aqar Air, in Entebbe last week.

The Deputy Chairman of the Sovereignty Council conveyed to Museveni the greetings of Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. He thanked him for the efforts undertaken by Uganda and its endeavours to end the war in Sudan.

The Vice President of the Sovereignty Council confirmed that the ongoing war in Sudan is a colonial war that targets Sudanese citizens.

He pointed out that the rebel leaders and their allies at home and in neighbouring countries and Europe are working to market the violations of the rebel Rapid Support militia, including killing, rape, ethnic cleansing, genocide, occupation of citizens’ homes, and destruction of infrastructure, as a war aimed at achieving democracy and that it is a war against the Muslim Brotherhood, pointing out that These are just slogans for cover and political propaganda, justifying the militia’s violations, which are essentially a recreation of the Bashir regime.

He said the Sudanese government wants to end the war and is working towards that goal.

The meeting also addressed the obstacles facing Sudanese students at different levels of education and the problem of doctors who need permission to work in hospitals in Uganda, which the Ugandan president promised to solve.

The two sides agreed to establish a follow-up mechanism through the Sudanese embassy in the Republic of Uganda.

After the meeting, the Ugandan President expressed his happiness and appreciation for the will of the Sudanese and their cooperation in resolving the crisis that befell them.

The Deputy Chairman of the Sovereignty Council expressed his thanks and appreciation to the government and people of Uganda for the hospitality and warm reception that the Sudanese received in their second country.
