Today, on Wednesday, at the United Nations Palace in Geneva, Minister of Justice Muawiyah Muhammad Ahmed Khair addressed the high-level general discussion session of the Human Rights Council.
The Minister reviewed the human rights situation in Sudan and the blatant and unprecedented violations it has been exposed to since the outbreak of the terrorist Rapid Support militia’s rebellion, especially after its plan to seize power by force of arms failed. It entered directly into an open war against the Sudanese people and the state and its institutions, according to what was stated in the minister’s speech.
The speech indicated that the rebel militia continues to abuse citizens, occupy their homes, and commit the most horrific violations against them, including murder, torture, rape, exploitation, displacement, and ethnic cleansing.
