Port Sudan – Al-Mohagig
The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, stressed the importance of strengthening relations and developing prospects for cooperation between Sudan and Russia.
According to a statement by the Sovereignty Council, this came during a meeting with Al-Burhan, Andrei Chernovol, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Sudan, in the presence of the Sudanese Foreign Minister, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq.
The Council stated that the meeting dealt with joint relations between Sudan and Russia in all fields.
For his part, the Russian ambassador affirmed his country’s determination to strengthen and advance relations in all fields and develop prospects for joint cooperation with Sudan, expressing his hope that the aspirations of the people of Sudan to establish stability, security and peace will be achieved.
