The Sudanese Mobile telecommunications company “Zain” announced the gradual return of its service in parts of the Gezira and Sinnar states. Service gradually returned to the city of Haj Abdullah and many adjacent villages, in addition to the city of Al-Housh, the villages of Al-Baryab, Umm Tribat, and other villages in the state of Gezira. This is in addition to the return of service to Wad Al-Abbas, Al-Dabasin and Al-Shambata in Sinnar State.
The company stated that this is part of its efforts to connect all Sudanese states with the new main exchange, which was inaugurated in Port Sudan on March 3, 2024.
The company is expected to announce the return of other areas in the state of Gezira and several other states soon.
