Omdurman – almohagig
Sovereignty Council member, and Assistant to the Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General, Marine Engineer Advisor Ibrahim Jaber, arrived on Tuesday night to the Corps of Engineers in Omdurman and addressed the officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, and personnel of the Corps of Engineers and congratulated them on the victories achieved in all axes and fronts.
He was received by the Commander of the Corps of Engineers, Major General Dhafer Omar, who provided detailed briefing to the member of the Sovereignty Council and his accompanying delegation about the progress of military and service work in the Omdurman Military Region.
Jaber was reassured of the security situation and the progress of military operations, appreciating the role played by the Arms Command in social work in addition to military work in preparation for the return of citizens to their homes.
The Sovereignty Council member was accompanied during the visit by Dr. Mohieddin Al-Naim, the Acting Minister of Oil, Mr. Ahmed Adam Bakhit, the Minister of Social Development, Mr. Ahmed Othman Hamza, the Acting Governor of Khartoum State, and Engineer Mohamed Taher, Director of the Mineral Resources Company.
