Al-Burhan Reviews the Efforts of the Interior Ministry to Establish Security and Stability in the Country

The Minister of Interior Affairs briefed the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, on the plan and efforts of the Ministry of Interior to establish security and stability in Sudan, combat crime and negative phenomena, and its role in the post-war period.

This came during his meeting today, Tuesday, in Port Sudan, with the Minister of Interior-incharge, Major General (M) Khalil Pasha Sairin.

The Acting Minister of Interior said in a press statement, “The meeting discussed the efforts and contribution of the Ministry of Interior in supporting the war effort and the armed forces to defeat the terrorist militia, in addition to police deployment in the safe states and liberated areas.”

Providing services to citizens, combating crime, and maintaining public order.

The Minister of Interior added that he provided enlightenment to the President of the Sovereignty Council about the recommendations and outcomes of the Foreign Presence Control Workshop that was held recently to arrange and legalize the conditions of foreigners.

He pointed out that the meeting touched on the ministry’s contribution to addressing the situation of Sudanese in Egypt.

The Minister of Interior said that he briefed the Chairman of the Council on the media plan implemented by the Ministry to improve the mental image of the police in Sudanese society and its role in providing services.
