Rapid Support Militia Killed More Than 40 Employees in Kordofan

Port Sudan – almohagig

The leader of the Democratic Bloc, Mubarak Abdel-Rahman “Ardol” revealed that the Rapid Support Militia liquidated more than 40 civil servants in the city of Al-Fula, the capital of West Kordofan State, based on their ethnic identity.

Ardol said in a post on his Facebook page: “More than forty Nuba Mountains citizens who were civil service employees were killed in the city of Rijl Al-Fula in West Kordofan by the Rapid Support rebels, including Suleiman Muhammad Ahmed Arka, an employee at the Ministry of Finance.”

On Thursday, the Rapid Support Militia entered the city of Al-Fula after battles and confrontations with a limited force from the Sudanese army that was at the headquarters of the 91st Brigade, which led to large waves of displacement of citizens from the city’s residents and those fleeing the city of “Babnusa”, who reached 16 thousand displaced persons.

Since the war began in mid-April last year in Sudan, the country’s states have witnessed multiple violations by the militia, including killing based on identity and ethnicity, enforced disappearance/kidnapping, torture and rape, amid local, regional and international condemnations.
