Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces issued instructions for strengthening and promoting Sudan’s foreign relations, especially with neighbouring countries, to serve the country’s highest interests.

This came as he bid farewell (Sunday) to the Sudanese ambassadors to Egypt and Ethiopia, Lieutenant General Engineer Imad Al-Din Adawi and Ambassador Al-Zein Ibrahim Hussein, in the presence of the Foreign Minister-designate, Ambassador Hussein Awad.

In a press statement, Ambassador Imad Al-Din Adawi said that the President of the Sovereign Council provided good directions and guidance regarding developing relations between Sudan and the countries concerned.

Pointing out that the stage that Sudan is currently going through requires intensifying diplomatic efforts to uncover the truth of the rebellion led by the terrorist Rapid Support militia against the state and its institutions.

He added that the President of the Sovereignty Council also directed the need to pay attention to Sudanese communities abroad and address their problems.

Adawi explained that the challenges facing Sudan due to this war imposed on it are significant challenges that require adopting a foreign policy that helps clarify the secrets of this war and its motives.
He applauded the rally of the Sudanese people, with all its components, around the armed forces.
