Ministry of Finance Presents A New Vision to Address Debts and Resume Stalled Projects Funded by the IDB

The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning has announced the presentation of a vision to address debts and resume stalled projects in Sudan funded by the Islamic Development Bank Group which is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Minister of Finance, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, is leading a government delegation at the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group, which are being held this year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from April 27 to April 30.

According to a press release issued by the ministry, the delegation includes the Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan, Badreldin Abdelrahman Ahmed, and the Undersecretary of Economic Planning, Mohammed Bashir Adam, as well as several technical experts and specialists from the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning.

The Minister of Finance will meet with the President of the Islamic Development Bank Group, Dr. Bandar Hajjar, and some directors of specialised funds within the group, in addition to counterparts from some Arab and Islamic countries, as part of efforts to enhance and deepen bilateral relations with those countries.
